I called the doctor's office on Friday afternoon. It felt strange saying it out loud - "I need to make an appointment with Dr. G because I'm pregnant." I'm pregnant!
I'll be seeing the nurse educator on September 16. She will take down all my health related information and tell me lots of important things. I will see Dr. G in October.
The lady on the phone called in a prescription for prenatal vitamins to Meijer - where they are FREE - so I've been taking those. She also told me our due date: May 5, 2010. At the end of the phone call, she said "Congratulations, Christen" and I almost cried. It actually is happening. Our baby is the size of a poppy seed right now...
I still feel great, other than drowsy in the afternoons - no coffee for me :( - I also feel more thirsty, which makes it easier for me to remember to drink my water.
