36 weeks

Baby G is very happy where s/he is at the moment. The Doc. said we're not huge - 35.5 cm - and that's a good thing. Apparently earlier in the pregnancy she was kind of concerned about how big the baby might be, but she's not worried anymore. Glad she didn't share that worry earlier :)

Following the trend, Baby G tried to roll away from the doppler when our Dr. was getting the heartbeat. There's not much room to run, so she caught the heartbeat at about 138 - and then it jumped up to 148 when the baby was trying to get away.

In other news, our bedroom is mostly painted - the light fixtures should be going up tomorrow and then we need to stain the trip and order the carpet. We have a big baby shower on Sunday, so my goal for tomorrow is to get the living room back in order so we can find places for all the good stuff!

Our first order of diapers arrived this week and I prepped them the other evening. I've been busy knitting wool soakers and am getting anxious to try it all out!
