Last night this wonderful gift was delivered to our door! Thank you so much Aunts Linda, Cindi and Jaci, cousins Rachael and Ann and "grandma" Boerma! Chad was a trooper and put it together for me even though he was exhausted from hanging drywall all day...
This stroller has a couple of features that I love - first, the handle is adjustable - so when I'm pushing it I can lower it to my height (or lack thereof...) and when Chad's pushing he can raise it up to his comfort level. Second, the handle switches sides! After baby is big enough to sit in the actual stroller and not the infant seat, we can flip the handle so baby can see mom, or flip it back the traditional way so baby can see where we're going. There's also a cup holder and it's supposed to fold up one-handed.
Another great thing is that a coworker handed-down 2 Graco bases for an infant seat, and even though they are a few years older than our model, our infant seat will snap right into place in them! So, one for mom's car, one for dad's car, and one extra, even! All we need is a cute little bundle to strap in...less than 8 weeks to go. Thanks again!!!!!
We also received a pack 'n' play from Teresa and Dave - similar to this style, but a different pattern. It's been set up in the living room since we brought it home from their house :) Thanks to you guys too!In other news, last week Saturday we stayed awake through the long day of childbirth class...the morning was really great, loved the tour of the birth center, but the afternoon kind of dragged on. Tuesday night we head back to the hospital for our breastfeeding class. Everything is coming together...the month of April will bring showers...baby showers, that is!
