We took this picture on my 30th birthday, the day we turned 31 weeks. Today, at our Dr. appointment (after being poked to give a blood sample and given the rhogam shot so baby's blood and my blood don't go to war...) the belly measured 30.5 centimeters. Baby's heartbeat was nice and strong, 148 beats per minute. I've been feeling lots of kicks and wiggles on my left side, and baby's head is down and to the right. There's still plenty of time to get into position.
Dr. G. answered some of our questions about induction and labor, and we are really happy that we're all on the same page. She came highly recommended, and at this point I'm highly recommending her too!
Tomorrow we're spending the day at the hospital for our birthing class and next week our bedroom will get dry walled. Baby showers are on the calendar, too! Is it really almost May already? Hard to believe how fast this is going.
